چکیده

We describe a dc superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) based magnetic resonance spectrometer particularly suited to measurements in the frequency range of 100 kHz to several megahertz. Results are presented for nuclear quadrupole resonance (NQR) of boron-II in boron nitride at 4.2 K, yielding {uQ = 1467 ± 2 kHz. We also present a direct measurement of the methyl group tunneling frequency, (UI = 210 ± 10 kHz, of propionic acid in low field, at 4.2 K.

Low-field magnetic resonance imaging with a high-Tc dc superconducting quantum interference device

A spectrometer incorporating a high transition temperature dc superconducting quantum interference device ~SQUID! is used to obtain nuclear magnetic resonance signals from protons in mineral oil at room temperature in fields up to 3 mT. The spatial separation between the SQUID magnetometer at 77 K and the sample at room temperature is less than 1 mm. At 2 mT, the signal is easily resolved in a ...

SQUID detected NMR and NQR

Ž . The dc Superconducting QUantum Interference Device SQUID is a sensitive detector of magnetic flux, with a typical flux noise of the order 1 mF Hz at liquid helium temperatures. Here F s"r2 e is the flux quantum. In our NMR or 0 0 NQR spectrometer, a niobium wire coil wrapped around the sample is coupled to a thin film superconducting coil deposited on the SQUID to form a flux transformer. W...

NMR and MRI at ultra - low magnetic fields ( Title )

Laser polarized Xe and a high-Tc Superconducting QUantum Interference Device (SQUID) are used to obtain magnetic resonance images in porous materials at a magnetic field of 2.3 mT, corresponding to a Larmor frequency of 27 kHz. Image resolution of 1 mm is obtained with gradients of only 1 mT/m. The resolution of xenon chemical shifts in different physicochemical environments at ultra-low fields...

Discriminating Hepatocellular Carcinoma in Rats Using a High-Tc SQUID Detected Nuclear Resonance Spectrometer in a Magnetic Shielding Box

In this study, we report the spin-lattice relaxation rate of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and normal liver tissue in rats using a high-T(c) superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) based nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectrometer. The resonance spectrometer used for discriminating liver tumors in rats via the difference in longitudinal relaxation time in low magnetic fields was ...

Non-linear magnetic behavior around zero field of an assembly of superparamagnetic nanoparticles.

The MIAplex® device is a miniaturized detector, devoted to the high sensitive detection of superparamagnetic nanoprobes for multiparametric immunoassays. It measures a signal corresponding to the second derivative of the magnetization around zero field. Like any new technology, the real success of the MIAplex® detector can only be exploited through a deep understanding of the magnetic signature...
